Turning point "Whirly Gig"
Peggy Lyons opened her home to more than 100 shoppers for a "Whirly Gig" fundraiser on June 13th.  Whirly Girls, a unique jewelry company, custom designed three Turning Point bracelets that were unveiled at the party.  A percentage of the proceeds from the Turning Point bracelet sales went to the organization.  For all other jewelry sales, 10% of the proceeds were also donated to Turning Point.
After reading about Whirly Girls in the KC Star, Peggy was intrigued by their unique concept.
Susan Neuenschwander and Shelly DeMotte created a hip, one-of-a-kind jewelry line that gives back to the people who buy their jewelry as well as the causes they support. Their handmade bracelets are designed in connection with issues such as breast cancer and AIDS awareness.
Proceeds of each bracelet sale are donated directly to the cause.  Whirly Girls bracelets are wildly popular and recently were included in goody bags for stars at the Grammy Awards!

Peggy knew Whirly Girls and Turning Point would be a perfect match and immediately contacted Shelly to discuss the partnership.  Shelly fully embraced the cause and designed not one, but three very unique and beautiful bracelets for Turning Point.  The unveiling party for the
bracelets was a memorable event that won't soon be forgotten.
