Dear Whirlgirls,

Let me tell you about your next winner, my daughter Katherine Ebert is a 13 years old who has been my rock with my battle with Lupus.  She has gone and sat with me at the hospital while I was getting chemo treatments at the age of 11.  She takes care of me when I am ill even it means getting up in the middle of the night because she hears me up.  She taught herself how to do laundry, ironing and cooking from watching me and she helps out when needed. She is such a nurturer that she cares for her younger brother Christopher age 9 and gets him ready for school in the mornings and walks him home daily.

She is a very compassionate child.  While other girls her age are going out with their friends, she babysits to earn extra money to help fund her expenses.  She does go out with her friends but also balances earning money with fun.  I am blessed to have an amazing child!
