Yesterday, my husband had me pick out a bracelet for my birthday, which falls on Valentine's Day.  I selected Erin's Leukemia bracelet in memory of one of my childhood friends whom we lost to leukemia at age 20.  We spent some time on your site and I wanted to take a moment to thank you.  One of the Whirly Awards you have given is to a young woman named Theresa Schmidt. She is one of my very best friends, as I was one of the 916 girls that Molly Vigen referred to in her nomination.  I read through the other winners and was overcome with emotion.  I didn't think I could find someone as deserving as Theresa, but all of the stories were extremely touching.  

Thank you for offering the Whirly Awards and recognizing these amazing women.  Your site is a place I will visit in the future when I need a little uplift in spirit.  I am blessed to have strong, loving women in my life and your awards are a wonderful testament to these women!
